Uruguay travel photography
I
spent a few days travelling through Uruguay in 2005. I decided to travel to this country as I was staying at Buenos Aires, Argentina and Montevideo (Uruguay's capital) was only a short boat ride away.
I am certainly glad I travelled to Uruguay as I found it a character soaked, relaxing and tranquil destination. I can certainly recommend Colonia if you are after photographic opportunities; old cobbled streets mix with delpadated cars and a very scenic harbour.
I used a lot of black and white film in Uruguay hence the photos below are predominantly that format.
