Lonely Planet guides
I have used Lonely Planet guides for over a decade and I must say they have been a crucial addition to my travel gear. Lonely Planet guides are extremely useful for accomodation and hidden 'gems'. Check the Lonely Planet site for regular deals on books.
Digital Canon cameras
I have been a Canon fan for most of my life. Not only do Canons produce fantastic photography but they are also light, pratical and affordable. Check the 450D or SX200 both great travel cameras produced by Sony.
3D photos
Although it's still a new product within the world of photography, 3D photography will be the growing medium over the next couple of years. Imagine taking a shot of your favourite landmark and reliving that moment in 3D. I recommend checking out this 3D site for up-to-date 3D photography news.

About the photographer
Hi there
Welcome to Rambling Dog Photography showcasing the travel photography of
James Cooper.
The photographer
James
was born in London in the 70's and during the 80's discovered
the delights of photography. In the 90's he studied photography and dark room techniques for three years and since then has always been fascinated
with photography as a medium.
Travel images
Another
passion of James' is travelling
and he has spent a good percentage of his life travelling
various continents. Lady luck has shone on his travels
and many opportune moments have arisen ... resulting
in fantastic images from a range of countries.
Travel photos
James tends to steer from the obvious
and focus on the abstract. He is in his element
when it comes to travel photography and this encompasses - landscapes, abstract, portraiture
and b/w photography. However he has also
been involved in studio photo-shoots for bands and top selling
publications.
