Hi. Welcome to Rambling Dog Photography showcasing the travel photography of myself,
James Cooper.
About me::
I
was born in London 1977 and during the 80's discovered
the delights of photography. I have always been fascinated
with this medium and it remains an important
element of my life.
Travel photography:
Another
passion of mine, like so many others is travelling
and I have spent a good percentage of my life traversing
various continents. Lady luck has shone on my travels
and many opportune moments have arisen ... resulting
in fantastic travel photography. Please check the
Countries
tab on the left for a list of some of the countries
I have visited.
Types of photography:
I tend to steer from the obvious
and focus on the abstract. I am certainly in my element
when it comes to travel photography and this encompasses - landscapes, water shots, abstract
and black and white photography. However I have also
been involved in studio photo-shoots for bands and top selling
publications.
Cameras:
It
is only very recently that I put down my trusted Canon
Eos 5 and replaced it with the new Pentax K10D and
so far this has proved an inspired decision. HOWEVER
I am still very fond of my film camera's and I certainly
will not be parting with either my Canon or Pentax
ME SUPER. I would also just like the opportunity to
mention how good Tamron lens' are ... long may they
continue to produce such high quality hardware.
Rambling dog content:
The
photos found in Rambling Dog Photography are split
into four categories Places
(further split into water, urban, beach and nature), People, Things
and Countries.
In each of the country sections I offer tips and techniques for you to improve your travel photography ... and not miss out on any gems.
Feel
free to browse the site and let me know what you think
of my travel photography.
Keep
returning for regular travel photography updates.
